Chicago, IL. Washburn University, one of the best regional universities in Topeka, Kansas, has partnered with OculusIT™, a global, managed IT and cloud services company for Microsoft® Identity Services.
The University had been looking for consultation services for the installation and configuration of Microsoft® Identity Solutions at their campus. Through this engagement, OculusIT™ will leverage Microsoft® Solutions Framework (MSF). The team will deploy Microsoft Identity Manager® (MIM) 2016 at the University to make provision for integration with Ellucian Banner® as source data feed, provisioning and de-provisioning of ID’s in Active Directory® and Password Self Service Portal.
Microsoft Identity Manager® is a hybrid identity management platform that connects all on-premises and cloud identities. Through MIM, Washburn University will manage the complete user lifecycle including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management to Microsoft® and non-Microsoft® systems through workflows that model their campus requirements. With MIM’s self-service capabilities, the University’s students and staff can easily reset their passwords, manage group memberships, and participate in approval workflows.
