Central State University selects OculusIT for Banner® Managed Services

Chicago, IL. OculusIT, a leading Managed IT and Cloud Services company, recently announced its partnership with Central State University for Banner® Managed Services.

Central State University (CSU) was looking to partner with an expert Banner® managed services provider to liberate its in-house staff to focus on strategic academic goals. Through its partnership with OculusIT, the IT team at CSU will be able to spend more time in developing new technical skills needed to support their campus operations.

OculusIT will support CSU with TEST and PROD installation for Ellucian Degree Works®, Argos® reporting services, and third-party integration with Banner®. This includes Oracle® professional services projects like EM Cloud control, Ellucian® Solution Manager and Banner® 9 upgrades. A dedicated database administrator will work on installation, configuration and upgrade of databases, application homes and application environments for the University. This includes performing database system level security administration for the Banner® servers. Along with DBA services, CSU will leverage from an ISO 27001 complaint operations center from OculusIT, that will be available 24×7 for event monitoring and management based on alerts from the CSU IT staff.
