The VP of Marketing will be responsible for all marketing objectives by developing and implementing cohesive marketing plans to increase lead generation and brand awareness. The selected candidate will set short and long-term goals for the marketing team and create and manage the marketing budget. The role requires a thorough understanding of marketing automation technology and the ability to interpret results to inform future marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides executive leadership and day to day management of all Global Marketing Operations
- Organizes and executing go-to-market strategies in line with company targets
- Develops and execute targeted marketing campaigns
- Provides regular reporting and analysis of campaign results
- Owns the generation of leads and nurturing via email and social media marketing
- Implements measurable strategies that will drive hard revenue goals and increase awareness
- Works closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify and win new and upsell opportunities
- Creates, organizes, and owns all marketing collateral
- Establishes best in class web presence that drives prospect engagement and supports aggressive lead generation and awareness growth goals
- Regular website updates, maintenance, and marketing updates/announcements
- Monitors, drives and coaches the marketing team to adhering to the operating rhythm
- Fosters an organization of continuous productivity improvement in partnership with senior leadership to identify opportunities to streamline and enhance marketing through optimization and targeted campaigns
- Supports the annual planning process across the marketing organization by providing factual insights into structural, segmentation, people, operational and enablement opportunities and risk
- Ensures the marketing team is fluent in the complete breadth of our products and services
- Partners with Leadership to develop enablement plans tailored to regional goals and objectives
- Owns marketing communication and leadership meetings, ensuring that communications and meetings are effective, timely and provide the correct balance between internally focused activities and externally facing activities
- Participates in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
Required Experience
- 10 – 15 years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- A four-year degree from an accredited institution, equivalent qualification or experience
- Professional marketing experience in the higher education domain
- At least 10 years of direct, well-rounded marketing experience
- 5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development
- A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must
