PMO Head
JOB DESCRIPTION Position PMO Head Experience 15+ Years Responsibilities Strategic PMO Leadership Establish, lead, and mature the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring alignment with organizational goals, governance standards, and best practices. Define and refine project management frameworks, methodologies, templates, KPIs, and reporting standards across the organization. Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across multiple programs and projects. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project managers and coordinators; build a high-performing PMO function. Partner with executive leadership to shape project strategy, facilitate decision-making, and ensure organizational readiness for change. Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management Drive adherence to project governance standards, quality benchmarks, compliance requirements, and documentation practices. Provide regular portfolio-level and project-level reporting to executive leadership and clients, including dashboards, health checks, and KPI summaries. Establish consistent communication channels with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and global partners. Operational Excellence Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives for PMO processes, tools, and methodologies. Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of project resources as required. Develop, maintain, and update all project documentation, plans, registers, and knowledge repositories. Support out-of-hours or on-call activities when required due to the global nature of the environment. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of experiencein IT infrastructure, Security or Services environments. Minimum 7 years in leading PMO functions or large-scale programs preferred worked in mid to large organization. PMP Certification Deep understanding of the full project management life cycle, ideally within a Remote Management Servicesor global delivery environment. Proven expertise in project/program management, planning, procurement, scheduling, resourcing, support, and training. Strong stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience working in global, cross-functional, multicultural teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with executive-level presentation capabilities. Ability to develop, manage, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred. Practical experience and strong hands-on IT skills considered a significant advantage.
