Overview
The System Analyst is a part-time, non-exempt position that provides support to a number of computer systems used in daily operations for the University. This position’s working location is remote, but the incumbent may periodically be required to have a physical presence for meetings or events. This position is responsible for the daily operations as outlined in the IT Operational Calendar and for training others to assume those responsibilities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for Colleague and act as a liaison between the University and Independent College Enterprise.
- Provide daily support for Self Service.
- Provide daily support for the Informer 5.0 reporting system and respond to helpdesk requests for new reports or modifications of existing reports.
- Provides daily support for the data extract process in Starfish.
- Provides daily support for Follett bookstore processes.
- Provides daily support for Daily Enrollment reports
- Provides daily support for the Idata transfer process for Slate to Colleague data synchronization
- Provides weekly / periodic support for RNL Data uploads
- Provides weekly / periodic support for Scholarships from Slate into Colleague.
- Provides weekly / periodic support for email reminders to accepted students.
- Provides periodic support for uploading meal plan data from Colleague into Transact.
- Provides periodic support for uploading student insurance information from Colleague into Wellfleet.
- Makes purchases and reconciles the BOA p-card.
- Enters invoices for payment.

- Troubleshooting ability with complex technical challenges.
- Self-starter who can work with little direct supervision.
- Knowledge of Colleague, Self-Service, Slate, Starfish, Informer, Idata and Transact.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science with experience in Colleague, Self-Service, Slate, Starfish, Informer, Idata and Transact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in university setting.
