Director Of Marketing

About the role

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for all marketing objectives by developing and implementing cohesive marketing plans to increase lead generation and brand awareness.  The selected candidate will set short and long-term goals for the marketing team and create and manage the marketing budget.  The role requires a thorough understanding of marketing automation technology and have the ability to interpret results to inform future marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and executing go-to-market strategies in line with company targets
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of campaign results
  • Lead generation and nurturing via email and social media marketing
  • Implement measurable strategies that will drive hard revenue goals and increase awareness
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to identify and win new and upsell opportunities
  • Create, organize, and own all marketing collateral
  • Establish best in class web presence that drives prospect engagement and supports aggressive lead generation and awareness growth goals
  • Regular website revamp, maintenance, and marketing updates/announcements
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience building brand awareness and support internally
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives
  • Advanced experience working with a variety of traditional and modern marketing and communications functions including branding and messaging to different target audiences
  • An understanding of all aspects of print material production and development and implementation of social media plans
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop publishing programs, Adobe Creative Suite programs, and an understanding of social media platforms
Qualifications
  • A four-year degree from an accredited institution, equivalent qualification or experience
  • At least 5 years of direct, well-rounded marketing and business development experience
  • 3 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development
  • A hands-on collaborative style of working is a must
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation technology
