Position Overview:
The Director of Human Resources will serve as a company HR leader, responsible for building and scaling a unified global people strategy. This role will oversee all HR functions in the United States. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of HR will partner with the India Director of HR and the leadership team to shape organizational culture, drive talent strategies, and ensure alignment between business goals and people operations across geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all US HR strategy and execution for OculusIT, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, performance management, and learning & development
- Develop and execute a scalable global people strategy to support rapid growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships with business leaders to advise on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management
- Own and optimize compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategies across both geographies
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Partner with global HR leaders in India and the U.S., fostering a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement
- Lead initiatives related to DEI, culture, employee engagement, and leadership development
- Support HR due diligence and integration activities related to M&A or private equity initiatives

- Drive strategic market growth through expansion into new geographies and customer segments
- Lead transformation of service delivery to enhance value, scalability, and client experience
- Support strong financial performance with a focus on sustainable margin improvement and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources or Organizational Development preferred
- 12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including experience overseeing global teams
- Experience in a fast-paced, scaling environment, preferably in IT services, SaaS, BPO, or professional services
- Demonstrated success as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and best practices; exposure to Indian HR compliance and practices strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills across cultures and time zones
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in private equity-backed or growth-stage companies
- Background working with distributed global teams, especially in U.S.-India models
- Strong track record of building HR infrastructure in scaling organizations
